Techbase Call Center
This guide connects a Techbase call center to Live Hub. Complete the following steps:
- Create a SIP connection in Live Hub.
- Contact Techbase Call Center support.
- Update the SIP connection in Live Hub.
Create a SIP connection in Live Hub
The connection is created with default settings, which the later steps update.
To create the SIP connection that represents your Techbase Call Center account:

Log in to Live Hub.

In the Navigation pane, select SIP connections, and then click Add new SIP connection.

On the General tab, under General:
- In the 'Name' field, enter a unique SIP connection name (for example, Techbase).
- From the 'Provider type' drop-down list, select Contact Center.
- From the 'Provider' drop-down list, select Techbase Call Center.

On the Incoming tab, under Authentication:
- Select the 'FQDN (Request-URI)' check box, and then copy the 'SIP connection FQDN' value that appears. You send this value to Techbase Call Center support.
- Select the 'Source IP address' check box.

Click Create.
Contact Techbase Call Center support
Contact Techbase Call Center support and ask them to provision a connection with Live Hub in your account. Give them the 'SIP connection FQDN' value from the previous step.
Techbase Call Center support then supplies the following information:
- IP address
{address}— the signaling FQDN or IP address of Techbase Call Center. - Signaling port
{port}— the signaling port of Techbase Call Center. - Transport type
{transport}— the transport type, UDP, TCP, or TLS, of Techbase Call Center. - Authentication parameters
{username},{password}, and{contactName}— the parameters Live Hub uses to authenticate itself with Techbase Call Center.
Update the SIP connection in Live Hub
This procedure applies the Techbase Call Center configuration from the previous step to the SIP connection.
To update the Techbase Call Center SIP connection:

Log in to Live Hub.

In the Navigation pane, select the Techbase Call Center connection that you created earlier.

If Techbase Call Center support gave you authentication parameters, then on the General tab, under Registration and authentication:
- From the 'Registration' drop-down list, select Enabled.
- In the 'Contact name' field, enter the
{contactName}of your Techbase Call Center. - Under Credentials, enter the
{username}and{password}of your Techbase Call Center.

On the Outgoing tab, under Addresses:
- Click Add to create a new entry.
- In the 'ADDRESS' field, enter the
{address}of your Techbase Call Center. - In the 'PORT' field, enter the
{port}of your Techbase Call Center. - In the 'PROTOCOL' field, select the
{transport}of your Techbase Call Center.

Click Update to apply the new parameters to the SIP connection.
